Humidi Privacy Policy

Humidi is a mobile application developed to convert voice recordings and audio files into MIDI files. This Privacy Policy explains what data Humidi processes, why it is processed, how long it is stored, and how users can contact us.

1. Information We Collect

Humidi may process the following types of data:

• Audio recordings: Voice recordings created by the user inside the application.
• Uploaded audio files: Audio files such as MP3, WAV, M4A or similar formats selected by the user for MIDI conversion.
• Generated output files: MIDI, WAV preview, rendered audio and related temporary output files created during the conversion process.
• Anonymous user identifier: A device-based anonymous user ID generated by the application to track free trial rights, credit balance and beta usage.
• Basic technical information: Error logs, request status and conversion status information required to provide and improve the service.

2. How We Use Your Data

The data processed by Humidi is used only for the following purposes:

• To convert your voice recordings or uploaded audio files into MIDI files.
• To generate piano previews and instrument-rendered audio previews.
• To allow users to download or share generated MIDI and audio files.
• To manage free trial rights, credits and beta testing features.
• To detect errors, improve service stability and provide a better user experience.

Humidi does not use your uploaded audio files for advertising purposes. Your audio files are not sold to third parties.

3. Audio File Processing and Temporary Storage

When you record or upload an audio file, the file may be sent to Humidi’s backend server for processing. The server analyzes the audio and generates MIDI and preview audio outputs.

Uploaded audio files and generated temporary files are stored only for the time required to complete the conversion and provide download or preview access. Temporary files are automatically deleted within 24 hours by the cleanup system.

4. Anonymous User ID and Credits

Humidi may create an anonymous user ID on your device. This ID is used to manage free trial limits, credit balance, beta package usage and previously unlocked files.

This anonymous ID is not linked to your name, email address or other personal identity information unless you voluntarily contact us and provide such information.

5. Payments and Beta Credits

During the beta testing period, package and credit features may be simulated for testing purposes. In beta mode, real payment may not be collected, and test credits may be assigned only to verify the user flow.

When real in-app purchases are enabled in the future, payments will be processed through Apple App Store or Google Play billing systems. Humidi will not directly store your credit card information.

6. Third-Party Services

Humidi may rely on platform services such as Apple TestFlight, App Store Connect, Google Play services or server hosting providers to operate the application and deliver beta testing features.

Humidi does not intentionally share your audio recordings with advertising networks or data brokers.

7. Data Retention

• Uploaded audio files: deleted automatically within 24 hours.
• Generated MIDI and preview files: deleted automatically within 24 hours unless otherwise required for testing or debugging.
• Anonymous user ID and credit data: retained as long as required to provide trial, credit and beta features.
• Error and technical logs: retained only as long as necessary to maintain service quality and security.

8. User Rights

You may contact us to request information about data associated with your anonymous user ID or to request deletion of related account and credit records where applicable.

Because Humidi currently uses an anonymous device-based identifier, we may ask you to provide your user ID from the app in order to locate your records.

9. Children’s Privacy

Humidi is not specifically designed for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe that a child has provided personal information through the application, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

10. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect uploaded files and generated outputs. However, no internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page.
